Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Suncrest Placentia Sunrooms & Patios website and any estimate, quote or work you request from us through it. By using the site or asking us for a quote, you agree to these terms, so please read them before you contact us.
When we sign a written contract for your job, that contract controls the work itself. If the contract and this page ever disagree, the contract wins.
What we do
Suncrest Placentia Sunrooms & Patios is a sunroom contractor based in Placentia, CA. We design and build sunrooms, screen rooms, patio enclosures and patio covers for homes in Placentia and the cities around it. You can see the full list of services on our home page and read more about our crew on the about page.
The descriptions, photos and examples on this site show the kind of work we do. They aren't an offer for a specific room at a specific price, because every house, lot and slab is different and the details are settled in your written estimate.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes are free, given on site, and you're under no obligation to hire us. We give you a price once we've seen your house, because size, materials, glass, roof tie-in, the condition of your slab or deck, and electrical work all change what a job costs.
A written estimate is good for the period it states. If we open up a wall, roof or foundation and find damage or conditions nobody could see beforehand, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree on any change in writing before we do the extra work.
Any permits, plan checks or homeowners association approvals your job needs, and who is responsible for each, are set out in your written estimate or contract.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set a start date with you once the contract is signed and any required approvals are in hand. Weather, material delivery, inspections and permit timing can move that date, and we'll let you know as soon as we know.
If you need to reschedule a site visit, call us at (657) 226-2045 or use the contact page so we can offer you another time. Cancelling a signed contract follows the cancellation terms in that contract and any rights California law gives you, and costs for custom materials already ordered for your job may not be refundable.
Payment
Your contract lists the payment schedule, the amount due at each stage and the ways you can pay. Any deposit follows the limits California sets for home improvement contracts.
Payments are due on the dates or milestones the contract names. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and we'll tell you before we do.
Warranties and disclaimers
Suncrest Placentia Sunrooms & Patios is licensed and insured, and we stand behind our work. Any written warranty on our workmanship is spelled out in your contract, and product warranties on glass, panels, roofing and other materials come from their makers and follow the makers' terms.
Beyond what your contract and the makers' warranties say, the work and this website are provided without other warranties to the extent the law allows. Our workmanship warranty doesn't cover damage from misuse, storms, settling of ground or structures we didn't build, or changes someone else makes to the room after we finish.
Limits on our liability
The information on this site is general and may not fit your house, so don't rely on it in place of an on-site look at your project. We aren't liable for losses that come from using the site or from relying on its general information.
For work we perform, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us under the contract for that work, except where California law doesn't allow that limit. We aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room while work is underway.
If we have a disagreement
Call us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly when we can come back out, look at the issue together and agree on a fix.
If we can't settle it that way, we'll both try mediation in Orange County, California, before either of us goes to court, unless your contract sets out a different process.
Which law applies
These terms and any work we do follow the laws of the State of California. Any court case about them will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Orange County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies to your use of the site. Changes don't alter a contract you've already signed with us.
If you have a question about these terms, reach us through the contact page or call (657) 226-2045. We reply within 1 business day.
